To say Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Ochocinco, is a Twitter enthusiast would be an understatement. The football star has sent well over 37,000 tweets, and counting.
Ochocinco tied the knot with his reality TV star fiancé, Evelyn Lozada, on Wednesday, and live-tweeted the entire ceremony.
"Live tweeting from my wedding ... should be a first I'm assuming, music is playing, can't see my guests right now but they're here," he wrote on his Twitter account.
Did he forget VH1 cameras would be recording the event for his upcoming reality show, Ev and Ocho?
The usually confident athlete was a nervous wreck, distracted by dreadful wedding scenarios often seen in motion pictures.
"I don't recall sending the butterflies in my stomach an invite ... and why am I shaking like I'm in Alaska," he wrote before walking down the aisle. "What if @EvelynLozada is a runaway bride when I get out there and I'm stuck looking good all by myself ... did I mention looking good?"
Giving his fingers more of a workout, he added, "Here we go.... Proverbs 18:22... I love you guys... If I do it right the 1st time I won't have to do it again." Obviously anxious about his very first wedding.
He later gave an update of the day's progression, "Small issue, I'm the only person that didn't/doesn't drink alcohol n every 1 is wasted including my WIFE, can't relate 2 this s--t, now what?"
The couple announced their engagement in 2010, while filming the reality show "Basketball Wives."
Also during that year, Ochocinco boasted about his relationship with Lozada, to TV's busiest host, Ryan Seacrest.
"You know how you deal with this person, that person, but you can't ever find everything in one individual?" he asked. "I think I found everything I've been looking for in one person. [She's] everything I've been missing."
He also told Seacrest that "his marriage won't play out for television cameras," guess things changed.
