It seemed not too long ago that Alec Baldwin, 54, proposed to his yoga instructor girlfriend, Hilaria Thomas, 28. The lovebirds made it official on Saturday at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York.
Just a few months prior, Baldwin let everyone know just how special Thomas is. "I've got a woman in my life now," the actor was quoted to have said. "My girlfriend is very important to me."
In keeping with the romantic gestures, the groom-to-be quoted a few sweet lines from an Emily Dickenson poem on his tweeter page, just mere hours from the wedding ceremony. "Was bridal e'er like this? A paradise, the host, And cherubim and seraphim The most familiar guest."
The blushing bride wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline accented with crystal buttons. Baldwin looked dapper in a Tom Ford tuxedo.
The ceremony was conducted by The Rev. George Deas, in both English and Spanish, the latter, the bride's native tongue. Notable guests included Baldwin's "30 Rock" co-star Tina Fey, woody Allen, and of course, brothers Stephen and Billy Baldwin.
Baldwin has a 16-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger. The teenager looked beautiful and composed in a slate silk chiffon gown, also designed by Amsale.
We wish the newly married couple nothing but the best on their happy union.
