We love us some "American Horror Story" season two spoilers! While creator Ryan Murphy has generally been the one opening his mouth about the new season, this time producer and screenwriter Tim Minear is...and boy is he spitting out some juicy details!
In season one fans fell in love with Jessica Lange's manipulative and overall frightening character Constance. This season we'll get to see the total opposite of the blonde cougar.
"She's not playing this kind of ersatz Tennessee Williams character this time," Minear teased. "She's playing something that's a little more East Coast, a little more patrician." Girlfriend is going to be a nun!
"She's playing an administrator of a facility. It's different. In this instance, she's a bride of Christ," Craveonline.com reports the screenwriter revealed.
It was previously leaked that Lange's new character will have feelings for the head of the institution she works for. If that's true then we can expect a pretty drama filled season with a naughty nun on our hands.
The second season of "American Horror Story" takes place in a mental institution on the East Coast in the 1960's. Along with the new scenery and time frame is a relatively new cast. Some of the mystery surrounding the new season is Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine's addition to the cast list. So far the only information leaked is that the singer will be institutionalized, playing one half of "The Lovers."
While a lot of questions still surround his character, MTV did reveal that Levine's character is "kind of a nod to contemporary sensibilities, as opposed to something from the mid-century."
