While we hate to see an episode of "True Blood" end...we do love the sneak peaks of the next episode!
Things in Bon Temp are getting real juicy (and bloody for some). Those poor folks never seem to catch a break!
Sookie has never looked so scared, as the preview shows her telling Lafayette that the "only way to crawl out of this hole is to start doing right." Does Sookie remember that the hole they are in is actually the grave of Alcide's ex, Debbie Pelt? I think the pair are going to have to do a lot more than just "doing right." This seems especially true since Alcide next week confronts Sookie, telling her that he "told" Debbie's parents. Since "True Blood" is known for its twists, lets hope that for Sookie's sake Alcide put his own twist on Debbie's disappearance.
The July 1 episode of "True Blood" also finally has Eric and Bill "free" from the Authority. Unfortunately for the two vampires, they still have a device strapped on them that could stake in a (non-existent) heart beat.
As part of their current freedom from the Authority, Bill and Eric must track down former vampire King Russell Edgington before he goes on another killing spree. "Only four of us knew where he was," Eric says in the preview. The four in question are Bill, Eric, Alcide and Pam. Judging from the preview, it seems that Eric has lost his truth in his prodigy Pam.
While Pam's fate at the hands of Eric looks grim, Nora's fate with the Authority is definitely worse.
"Who is gathering the extremists to bring us down?" Nora is questioned. Although judging from episode 3, I'm still not exactly sure if Nora is part of the extremist group.
While Sookie has not been seen with Bill or Eric since she broke up with both of them in the season finale, their love triangle is going to reemerge...in a way. The two vampires who used to feud over the bar maid are now working together and they believe Sookie can help with finding Russell Edgington. "I don't think she wants anything to do with us," Eric tells Bill (go team Eric!). Bill has other plans though, "I don't think we give her the choice."
"I'm sick of lying and covering and ruining peoples lives," Sookie sobs in the preview.
Episode 4 of season five of "True Blood" airs on HBO Sunday, July 1 at 9 P.M.
Are you excited for the next episode?
