'Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale Wants to be in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie

Hollywood is officially hooked on E.L. James' highly-acclaimed erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey". From ordinary housewives to celebrity mothers, each and everyone has read the books and they're all dying to play the lead role.

In fact, one "Pretty Little Liar" would "freaking love" to get the role as Anastasia Steele.

Despite getting banned and un-banned from over a few libraries in the US, "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues to become the most wanted and read book of 2012. It has gone from over 10 readers to 10 billion in over months. The number still continues to climb up the charts and the numbers of addicted fans are increasing over time as well.

While Lionsgate is yet to release any statements regarding the film adaptation of the highly-publicized novel, fans of the books continue to broadcast their potential list of actors to play the lead roles. A few big names in the film industry have in fact expressed their own sentiments to playing Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

"Vampire Diaries'", Ian Somerhalder, was among the first male celebrity to have openly spoke up on playing the 27-year old entrepreneur. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Ian says getting the role would be a "phenomenal opportunity" he won't be likely to pass off.

"I just started reading it," said Ian, adding, "I think that would be a pretty incredible thing. Hopefully, that would pan out. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, that would be a phenomenal opportunity."  

Another vampire also in line to play the role as Grey is "True Bloods'", Alexander Skarsgard. Even Robert Pattinson of "Twilight" has expressed interest over the role of Christian Grey. So who would most likely play Grey's' love interest, Anastasia Steele?

A lot of Hollywood actresses have candidly expressed interest over the role as well of which include Nina Dobrev and Kristen Stewart. Another lovely face to add to the list is "Pretty Little Liars'", Lucy Hale.

"I just finished the first [book]- I'm speechless," shared Hale in an interview with Celebuzz. "I think every girl on the carpet wants to play [Ana]! That would be freaking awesome. I'm really curious to see how they're going to turn it into a film," continued the 22-year old actress.

With all the choices up in Hollywood, who does Lucy Hale envision as Christian grey?

"That's a tough role to play, you have to be sexy but approachable," explained Hale, adding, "I know Ian Somerhalder- he would be a good one. Looks wise, he's a good one."

Nothing is set on stone and all fans and celebrities alike can do is hope and cross their fingers hard. Among all the choices in tinsel town, who is the best bet to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele?
