"Hawaii Five-0" Season 8 spoilers are teasing on the possible changes that will take place for the characters as seen on the season seven finale. Per TVOvermind, one of the biggest questions lies in Kono and Steve's future on the team.
Kono will reportedly make a "life-changing decision" on "Hawaii Five-0" Season 8 after taking on a human trafficking case that struck a nerve with her. Kono was last seen tracking down the traffickers without help from the team and this raised speculations that Kono will be gone for good in the upcoming season. Chin has also received an offer to lead a team in San Francisco, so his decision will be revealed on "H50" Season 8.
Aside from the uncertainties surrounding Kono on "Hawaii Five-0" Season 8, there also lies uncertainty on Steve McGarrett. Alex O'Loughlin has expressed intent to leave the CBS drama after eight seasons and the season seven finale showed an exit path for the character, which may either see him die or resign from the team to fully recover.
