"Major Crimes" Season 6 spoilers tease the overall themes for the upcoming episodes of the TNT crime drama. First off is romance, as many viewers have seen Raydor and Flynn get engaged in the previous episodes and it looks like these two will finally tie the knot "about a third of the way through next season," says creator James Duff in an interview with New York Post.
Aside from romance, viewers can expect that there will be a "bigger storytelling" on "Major Crimes" Season 6. While Raydor was promoted as commander following the demise of Assistant Chief Russell Taylor, it looks like there will be more power struggles in the future, as fans may not have seen the last of Deputy Chief Winnie Davis yet.
The team will also be dealing with the return of a serial killer, Philip Stroh on "Major Crimes" Season 6. According to the showrunner, this will be a four-part arc that "will loom over all of Season 6."
While there are already interesting plots for "Major Crimes" Season 6, Carter Matt hopes that the new season will provide a different story for Rusty. The publication notes that it may be interesting to see him find a romantic partner next season.
Aside from this, "Major Crimes" Season 6 may also benefit from telling more stories about other characters such as Sanchez or Provenza. The new season will air this fall and the show's official release date is expected to be announced in the coming months.
