"Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 entitled "Rickmancing the Stone" is still without a release date. Since the Adult Swim series dropped its first episode, "The Rickshank Rickdemption," many fans were expecting that new episodes will follow in the coming weeks.
However, many weeks have passed and "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 still has not gone on air. As Independent reports, the show's official Twitter account shared that the rest of the episodes for the new season will be released "this summer."
This led to speculations that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 episode 2 will be released in July since the previous season aired in the same month. Dan Harmon also explained that they are still in the process of drawing the rest of the episodes for the second season.
He also encouraged fans to be "harassing the bosses" instead of the writers or editors who have finished "Rick and Morty" Season 3 months ago. This means that Adult Swim has full control of the schedule for the release of the episodes.
In the meantime, Polygon notes that a "Rick and Morty" comic will be released in August. While episode 2 may be released before this comic, many fans are already looking forward to the comic because Olly Moss, who worked on "Harry Potter" books, served as the cover artist for the issue.
The rest of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be released this summer on Adult Swim.
