BTS Blends In With Hollywood At Billboard Music Awards 2017, Big Hit Boy Band Shares New K-pop Trend
BTS has finally arrived at the Billboard Music Awards 2017 and the boys revealed their most dashing and sophisticated look to date. The Big Hit Entertainment K-pop boy band proved that you don’t have to look extreme to be noticed at the BBMA’s.
K-pop stars are widely known for their eccentric fashion. They can pull off mixed prints together and even combine two colors that don’t usually mesh well. However, BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, arrived at the Billboard Music Awards 2017 red carpet and blended well with Hollywood rather than trying to take the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
BTS members, Jin (Kim Seok-jin), Suga, (Min Yoon-gi), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), Rap Monster (Kim Nam-joon), Jimin (Park Ji-min), V (Kim Tae-hyung), and Jungkook (Jeon Jeong-guk) opted for a sleek black suit for the Billboard Music Awards 2017. The seven-member South Korean boy band still pulled off to gather attention despite the fact that they were wearing a rather classic ensemble that a lot of male celebrities and performers were wearing at the event as well.
Although the BTS members wore similar outfits, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook managed to put a little spin on their ensemble to show their personalities. The mega-successful performers made sure to not look exactly the same with each other but also tried to still look like a band. They pulled it off quite well!
While six of the members wore a pair of black shoes, J-Hope opted for a silver one. Although all BTS members were wearing a black tuxedo, V chose a cropped pinstripe that he paired with a polka dot shirt. Some of the boys wore loose pants and some opted for a tight-fit pair. Some were wearing shirts, and some had button-up and collared tops.
With all the similarities and differences of their ensembles, their overall theme is black and white. BTS has definitely changed the flashy and colorful trend of K-pop with their classic Billboard Music Awards 2017 fashion.
