G-Dragon 2017: BIGBANG Star Ready For Mandatory Military Enlistment After Solo World Tour?

G-Dragon is definitely considered as one of the most influential South Korean celebrity out there. The BIGBANG member has been in the business since he was just a little kid, and then he grows up to become highly successful in all his ventures. However, G-Dragon has been in the age bracket to do his mandatory military service for a long time, so is his exit from the spotlight finally approaching?

BIGBANG's oldest member, Choi Seung-hyun, or better known by his stage name T.O.P, has already started his service since February of this year. With G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) and another member, Taeyang (Dong Young-bae), being the next older members, they are expected to be enlisting anytime soon.

However, G-Dragon just recently revealed that he is going to have a solo world tour which made his fans happy and concerned at the same time. Happy, obviously because they are going to see the master on stage once again, but concerned because they fear that this could be his farewell concert before enlisting to the military.

When performers reveal their teasers they usually include some easter eggs that people normally miss out until they figure it out while watching the full music video or concert. But G-Dragon did not even have to hide what's going to happen as his world tour's title as “Act III: Motte, Moment of truth the end" as stated in the promo trailer. Adding "The End" on his title doesn't sound encouraging for the fans.

The BIGBANG star has also shared in a previous interview that he is ready to do his mandatory military service if he is already called out for. But despite his large fanbase and mega-popularity, G-Dragon still fears to be out of the public eye for two years, thinking that fans may not support him and his other members when they go back.

"Although we will always be BIGBANG, we don't know what will happen when we come back [from enlistment]," G-Dragon said. "But no matter how long it takes, when I find my confidence again, I'll definitely reappear in front of the public eye again."
