'Dragon Ball Super' News & Update: To Introduce a New Character With Huge Similarities To Cell
The ultimate "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power is just a few episodes away and fans are now looking forward to each participating teams' techniques to win against each other. While the deadly martial arts tournament is coming closer, new characters have been introduced in every episode. The Female Broly has been featured, whose name is Caulifla where she was referred by her brother Renso in joining team Universe 6. Now, recent reports claim that the anime is about to introduce another new character, which is strangely similar to the Android, Cell.
Comic Book reports that a "Dragon Ball Super" fan teased the new character that has huge similarities with Cell. He is named Damon and is a bug-like creature that can also shed his skin. This appears to be very similar to the evil artificial life form, Cell who was created through the use of cells from different major characters in the anime.
"Dragon Ball Super" fans know that he possesses different forms and this also appears to be the same with Damon. However, there is no information whether or not he is linked with the Androids. Everyone knows that Cell must absorb Android 17 and Android 18 so he can be a perfect being.
Meanwhile, Celebeat reports that Majin Buu falls asleep and won't be able to join the "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power as he will only be awakened in two months. That said, spoilers revealed that Goku will be asking Fortuneteller Baba to resurrect Frieza for 24 hours so he can have him in team Universe 7. While this confuses most fans as everyone is aware that Frieza hates Goku, other experts believe that this is a huge upgrade to the team.
"Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power is said to take place in June, which is in contrast to most fans expectations that it should be this month. Celebeat will keep everyone posted on the upcoming Battle of Royal. Stay tuned.
