Wentworth Miller Wraps Up 'Prison Break' Season 5 To Be A Villain In 'The Flash'
"Prison Break" may have epically returned in the small screen but unfortunately it's not going to last like everyone have hoped for. The Fox show's season 5 is said to be the last and final season and it seems that Wentworth Miller is ready to move on from the hit television serial drama series. A new report revealed that the actor will be reprising his role as a villain in "The Flash" soon, seemingly marking the end of his iconic character, Michael Scofield.
The synopsis for "The Flash" season 3 episode 22 confirmed Wentworth Miller's comeback. The 44-year-old actor, model, and writer will return as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, and the show's brief summary indicated that he is in fact a part of the new installment.
"With only 24 hours left until Savitar murders Iris (Candice Patton), Barry (Grant Gustin) struggles to save the woman he loves and makes the choice to use any means necessary to do so," "The Flash" season 3 episode 22 read. "Realizing he has one option left to save her, The Flash turns to Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) for help."
Meanwhile, Wentworth Miller knows that fans are still heavily supporting "Prison Break" Season 5 despite the fact that it is only set for nine episodes. While people may have thought that the actor is more than ready to let go playing Michael Scofield, he is actually echoing the demands of the fans for more episodes and seasons.
The actor has previously shared that the fate of "Prison Break" lies in the hands of its viewers, as reported by Digital Spy. Wentworth Miller further noted that if "Prison Break" season 5 will be received well by fans, then there is a high chance that more episodes or seasons will be considered.
