'Frozen 2' Release Date: An Unlikely Villain May Be Revealed In Disney Sequel, Find Out Who!
"Frozen" is hands down one of the blockbuster animated movies that Disney ever created. However, the popularity of the animated film may somehow be a curse for "Frozen 2" because the sequel is expected to reach the expectations of the fans. So are the creators adding a shocking twist to the story to make it buzz-worthy like the first movie?
Since there are high expectations from "Frozen 2," a lot of angles are being considered for the second installment's storyline. But one thing is for sure, the film's producer, Peter Del Vecho, noted that the sequel will help the fans understand the first film a little better.
“Now that we’ve been involved in it for awhile, what’s exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “You understand things better in the first movie after you’ve seen the sequel.” Del Vecho also revealed the current status of "Frozen 2," “We’re working hard on it,” he said. “We’re in the development writing process and are very excited by it. Like all movies, it will evolve.”
Although the movie had a happy ending, it did have tear-jerking moments like the time Elsa and Anna lost their parents at sea. As if that's not enough tissue-worthy scene, the once super close sisters grew apart. Elsa still could not control her powers at the time and did not want to harm Anna again like she did when they were younger, so she decided to hide inside her room until coronation day.
Meanwhile, Blasting News reports that since "Frozen" had a shocking twist, with Prince Hans wanting to marry Anna so he can steal Elsa's throne and rule Arendelle, there is also a high possibility that "Frozen 2" will have a jaw-dropping twist as well. But this time could be much worse, Elsa's only sister, Anna, may turn out to be a villain in the sequel!
Although the site did note that this idea is just a speculation for now, there is still a chance that Disney will make some drastic changes as It has long been rumored that the company will take a different spin for the sequel. "Frozen 2" will premiere on November 27, 2019.
