Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe Hooking Up On 'Outlander' Season 3 Set? Co-Stars May Finally Admit Relationship Status
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe just can't seem to shake off romance rumors. Although the "Outlander" season 3 co-stars have been noting that they are just friends, people still believe that they are hiding the truth. A new report is certainly not helping the duo erase the rumors, in fact, it even added more reason to believe that the duo are indeed dating.
Unlike the previous seasons where Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe spend most of their time together filming, reports suggest that their characters will not get much time together in "Outlander" 3. If this is the case, then the co-stars will not be spending more time as well which started whispers and speculations that the rumored lovebirds are missing each other.
Rumors have it that the duo were even caught hooking up on the historical time travel television drama series' set. As if that's not enough, insiders allegedly revealed that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were holding hands and getting flirty with each other, per Poor Primadonna.
Although Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe usually tried to make their feelings towards each other as vague as possible, the "Outlander" season 3 actor may not contain his sadness anymore in working away with his leading lady. "It's always hard when we're apart, actually, because she's a great person, great to come to work with, and a very good actress," he told Vanity Fair. "But I think it all adds to the reunion-if there's a reunion, or when there's a reunion-well you know there's one in the books. It should be very special."
While Sam Heughan's new VF interview seemed to be sweet and romantic, he wasn't the first one who admitted missing his co-star. Caitriona Balfe has previously seemingly admitted to the magazine that she missed working with her "Outlander" season 3 co-star. However, the actress' revelation was a lot more intriguing as she sort of saying that she missed doing the intimate scenes with the actor.
