Fans are still unhappy that "Star Wars Rebels" Season 4 will be the last installment of the beloved animated series. However, that doesn't that the final season will not have awesome things to look forward to. The fourth season is set to feature more of the darker influences from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". In addition to that, Ahsoka Tano is set for a major comeback. But is it possible that Ahsoka's appearance will only confirm that she didn't survive the fight against Darth Vader?

The announcement about "Star Wars Rebels" Season 4 being the final season was announced at the recent Star Wars Celebration. The news immediately led to speculations that there would be a major time leap in the show leading straight to "Rogue One". In addition to that, fans are expecting the return of Ahsoka Tano, who was last seen battling it out with Darth Vader in the second season, as per CeleBeat. But is it possible that Ahsoka's comeback would come in the form of a Force Ghost?

In an interview with IGN, "Star Wars Rebels" Season 4 executive producer David Filoni confirmed that the show will feature influences from "Rogue One". The co-creator stated that the series could head for Yavin and the rebels themselves will start to adapt the less colorful look seen in the Felicity Jones film. Filoni also spoke up on the possibility that Ahsoka Tano would be back in the final season by saying that Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan will somehow show up.

Most fans would be delighted with the confirmation they haven't seen the last of Ahsoka Tano. However, some also believe that it would be impossible for the non-Jedi to still be alive after facing Darth Vader. There are speculations that Ahsoka will make an appearance as a Force Ghost who will help guide the Ghost crew to do the right thing. "Star Wars Rebels" Season 4 will premiere on Disney XD later this year.
