‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Set To Film Starz Drama In New Location

Latest "Outlander" Season 3 updates reveal that Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and the cast of the Starz time traveler series are looking into filming in Stirling village for the forthcoming seasons, reports Daily Record. According to the publication, the production team is looking into moving to Cambusbarron as its next location, which may take up to a year.
As most fans can recall, "Outlander" Season 3 is currently being filmed in South Africa to shoot the voyaging scenes from Gabaldon's third book. Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and some of the cast and crew have been sharing behind-the-scenes photos on their respective social media accounts.
"Outlander" Season 3 is also close to finishing its script, as writer and executive producer Matthew B. Roberts announced that he has just finished writing the words "FADE OUT" on the script, according to The Scottish Sun. Roberts shared that all he has left to do is to proofread the entire script to which several fans happily offered to help him with the task.
This means that "Outlander" Season 3 is right on schedule despite the fact that viewers will have to wait till September for the show's release on Starz. Bale, Heughan and the entire cast are also expected to finish production by May.
