Charlie Hunnam 2017: 'King Arthur' Actor Ignored By Robert Pattinson While Filming 'The Lost City Of Z'
Charlie Hunnam might be popular among the ladies but it looks like the "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" actor had little effect on fellow heartthrob Robert Pattinson. Hunnam has just revealed that the "Twilight" star had ignored him while they were working on the set of their film "The Lost City of Z". Is it possible that Pattinson was not a big fan of Jax Teller from "Sons of Anarchy"?
In an interview with Screen International, Charlie Hunnam admitted that he had only worked with Sienna Miller prior to principal photography for "The Lost City of Z". Unfortunately, he wasn't able to meet Tom Holland or Robert Pattinson before they started working on the adventure flick. However, it didn't take long for Hunnam to notice that Pattinson was completely ignoring him between takes.
"Through the work, I don’t think I said more than 10 words to Robert off camera," Charlie Hunnam stated. He added that he was unsure whether Robert Pattinson was simply staying in character or "he genuinely didn’t like" the "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" star. "There was a real distance between us," Hunnam said of his "The Lost City of Z" costar.
So is it possible that Robert Pattinson didn't enjoy working with Charlie Hunnam? The "Pacific Rim" star shared that the former "Harry Potter" actor eventually "reached out" to him. Hunnam concluded that "it was about the work" required on "The Lost City of Z". Luckily, it appears that the actors are now friends.
Robert Pattinson might not be his initial favorite, but Charlie Hunnam is definitely a fan of Tom Holland. CeleBeat has previously reported that the "Crimson Peak" actor felt pride when he played the father of the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star. "The Lost City of Z" will premiere on April 14.
