The singer's partner, Fadi Fawaz recently posted a cryptic picture on his Instagram account and set social media a buzz that the star has been buried in secret.
Fans of George Michael were led to believe that Fawaz's picture of a cemetery in the night was the final resting place of the singer, the Daily Mail reported. Any detail of where the singer could be cremated has been shrouded in secrecy. According to reports, some fans have been camped outside the Highgate Cemetery in the hope of catching a glimpse of his coffin.
Following the post of the image by George Michael's partner Fawaz, followers began retweeting the photo claiming that the "Fast Love" singer was buried. Some fans claimed that the singer's family finally buried the singer. While other's remarked below the image that the singer was buried in secret.
With social media exploding with a possible secretive funeral for pop musician George Michael, Fawaz later captioned his image saying it was a church he passed by in Buckinghamshire, the Mirror reported. Fawaz further added that it was a church that he had driven past in Beaconsfield. He said he admired it and wanted to share the image.
Furthermore, Fawaz brushed off remarks that he alluded to carrying out a secret burial for singer George Michael. He then left fans even more confused by sharing a link to a story on the funeral plans of the singer along with an odd caption which read - "9 days ago."
George Michael and Fawaz reportedly were together for five years, The Sun claimed. However, ever since the singer's passing it was reported that relations between his family and Fawaz had grown tense. Critics have speculated that the tensions may have arisen owing to the singer's fortune and to whom it is entitled.
