Dylan O'Brien Movie 'American Assassin' Release Date Set For September, 'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Star Future Still Bright
Fans have been worried that Dylan O'Brien will not be a part of the final episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Although there are no assurances just yet that Stiles will be reunited with Scott, people can still expect to see the "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" actor in a different project. The "American Assassin" release date has just been announced, confirming that O'Brien will be back on the big screen this September.
The official Facebook page for "American Assassin" has just announced the film's release date. In addition to that, the posters for the action flick were revealed. The movie is based on Vince Flynn's novel of the same name and stars Dylan O'Brien as CIA black ops recruit Mitch Rapp. The character will work alongside Sanaa Lathan's Irene Kennedy and Michael Keaton's Stan Hurley as they go after Taylor Kitsch's mysterious villain. The thriller also stars Shiva Negar as a Turkish agent who will help Rapp on his dangerous mission.
The announcement of the "American Assassin" release date was certainly welcome news for Dylan O'Brien fans who have been concerned that the actor will no longer appear in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. After all, filming has officially wrapped on the MTV series and there have been no updates on O'Brien working on any of the last 10 episodes, as per CeleBeat. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of chances to see the actor in action in the future.
The final episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 are expected to air on MTV this summer. Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether Stiles will be back before the end of the series. Dylan O'Brien's new film "American Assassin" will premiere on September 15 while "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is scheduled for release on January 12, 2018.
