Demi Lovato Laughs Off Nude Images Of Herself; Says Its Only Cleavage And To Checkout Vanity Fair Cover Shoot
Singer Demi Lovato is the latest female celebrity to be affected by photo hackers who have share unauthorized images of her online. However, the "Skyscraper" singer playfully downplayed the hype that had surrounded the leaked images in a social media post and used humor to hit back at hackers.
The leaked photos of Demi Lovato had been leaked to a pornographic site. The singer like many other victimized stars took her battle online via social media. Instead of adding heated comments she jokingly told fans on Twitter the images of her were far from nude and were merely that of her cleavage, the Bustle reported.
At the same time, Demi Lovato took the opportunity to tell fans that had the images of her been nude, she was fully in her rights to appear so. The singer said nude photographs of her body were not completely unseen as fans had seen her naked "by choice" previously.
Demi Lovato noted the instance when she appeared for a photo-shoot conducted by Vanity Fair in 2015, USA Today reported. During the photo-shoot undertaken by photographer Patrick Ecclesine, in most instances, she posed nude and without makeup and airbrushing.
The current leaked images of Demi Lovato picture her in bed smiling at the camera while the top of her jacket remains unzipped. While the singer has laughed off attempts by hackers to demean and shame her -- the images raise questions about a much bigger issue of attacks being carried out on women online.
The image leaks of Demi Lovato come just a week following similar hacks involving Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried, the Daily Mail reported. Both Watson and Seyfried sought legal means to bring the hackers to account. The images of Watson were reportedly taken during a fitting and while wearing a swimsuit with footage that hackers claimed were that of the actress filming herself nude in a bathtub. Watson has denied that the images are that of herself.
