Ellen DeGeneres Explains a Hilarious Accident Involving Two Glasses of Wine
The host of her own talk show Ellen DeGeneres shared a funny story of her recent hospitalization. She told the audience on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" about the incident hilariously.
Before welcoming actress Claire Danes as her guest on the Tuesday episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," She told the story of her being hospitalized and explaining how two glasses of wine made her suffer a dislocated finger.
“I dislocated my finger. That's what they call it, "she said to the audience pointing at the splint on her ring finger as quoted by E! News. She later made a joke about the term, "I knew where it was located. It was just wrongly located is what it was."
The incident happened when she went home from a dinner and having two glasses of wine with her partner Portia de Rossi. As she was approaching the front door of their house, she fell and she was in pain. She told the incident to the audience during the recording of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
The host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for 14 years was soon rushed to the hospital as she was in pain because of something wrong with her finger. She had an X-Ray, which shows how her finger was twisted as reported by PEOPLE.
The doctor at the UCLA then snapped her finger right back into place as she told the audience. As she looked in real pain, the nurse asked her whether she would want to take a shot, which she declined, saying that she had two glasses of wine. DeGeneres thanked her nurse in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" whom she mentioned her name as Tammy.
