'Dance Moms' Season 7 Is the Final Season? Nia Sioux Seems Fine With It
There have been speculations that "Dance Moms" season 7 would be the final season as there have been no words yet regarding Lifetime's renewal for season 8 of the American reality TV series. One of its cast members Nia Sioux said that there might be more seasons to come but also appears to be fine with the series not getting another season as it has been doing well since the beginning.
In an interview with Hollywire TV, Sioux said that "Dance Moms" has been a long show, thus, it wouldn't be too bad if season 7 would be its final season. "I've been doing it for so long, if it goes on, we'll see what happens. But if it stops, I think that it's been a long show, it's kind of like a bittersweet kind of thing," Sioux explained and added that her contract ends once season 7 comes to an end.
If Lifetime does renew "Dance Moms" for season 8, Sioux said that she will have to have discussions with the showrunners if they do want her to get involved in the show again. Although Sioux did offer a hopeful comment regarding her involvement in the show if it will get another season, this doesn't stop fans from speculating that she's been around in "Dance Moms" long enough and probably wants to finally make a departure as she already had the best time of her life.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that since Abby Lee Miller might have her time in jail soon, former ALDC Junior Elite Competition Team member Chloe Lukasiak, who made a comeback to "Dance Moms" season 7 will take over the team. The show has received average ratings in the previous seasons and fans believe that Lukasiak is the perfect host for the show although others think that Miller made the show famous because of her way of teaching.
