Duggar Family News Update: Fans Lash Out at Jinger Duggar's Fashion Choice; Josh Duggar's Molestation Scandal Whistleblower Reveals Herself
Jinger Duggar-Vuolo and Josh Duggar have recently been the subject of criticisms online after the two Duggar family siblings were once again associated with issues outside of their clan’s virtues. While Jinger was criticized for her choice of clothes, her brother Josh’s molestation scandal took the spotlight once again.
A photo of Jinger sporting a pair of shorts was posted online on Free Jinger by a fan, giving rise to mixed responses over the image. Although some fans were excited for the reality TV star to finally embrace freedom when it comes to fashion choices, others accused her of rebelling against the Duggar family rules.
Jinger’s preacher husband Jeremy Vuolo has also come under fire for allowing his wife to stroll around the Texas A&M International University campus in a pair of shorts. According to reports, the former soccer athlete once preached about a person’s choice of clothes with his beliefs opposing conservative Duggar family traditions.
As viewers of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” and “Counting On” have watched countlessly on TV, the Duggar family is expected by matriarch Michelle Duggar to strictly abide by the rules that daughters should wear contemporary yet modest dresses and skirts. However, Jinger and husband Jeremy chose to not comment on the issue.
Meanwhile, Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal has taken center stage once again after a woman claiming to have been the primary source of Josh’s indignity revealed herself on social media. The Duggar family is yet to comment on a Sherri Townsend introducing herself as the informant of In Touch Weekly’s Josh Duggar molestation story, exclusively revealed by Starcasm.
"I told a reporter from In Touch magazine about Josh Duggar's molestation/pedophilia of his sisters and others, which broke the story and ultimately caused his resignation as the head of the Family Research Council and got his family's hypocrisy-filled show cancelled,” Townsend stated.
After revealing herself, she also emphasized that she was not sorry at all for telling the truth. Her post has then been shared on Facebook pages, such as the “Duggar Family News: Life is not all pickles and hairspray.” Townsend also pointed out that she dislikes religious bigotry, a form of prejudice that has caused much harm to many people.
According to the whistleblower, Josh Duggar’s molestation acts had already been a “common knowledge” in her hometown- Springdale. Townsend added that she opened up about such incidents not because she wanted money, but because she was only responding to the efforts of the Duggar family, especially Michelle, who sought to bring down the LGBT community.
