Dave Franco, Allison Brie Finally Tie the Knot After Years of Dating
Dave Franco married his fiancee Allison Brie in the private ceremony after they have been dating for several years. They were engaged in August 2015 after three years dating.
The news of their marriage is reported by People. This came as a surprise because, earlier in February, Brie said that she is not interested in marriage.
“Marriage never really interested me," Brie said in February in an interview with Yahoo! Style. However she later explained the reason, "I guess because I was very focused on my work."
The couple first met in 2011 during the Mardi Grass Festival in New Orleans. Subsequently, they started dating and Franco popped the question in August 2015. He gave her the custom made engagement ring designed by the famous jewelry designer in Southern California Irene Neuwirth. The ring is a gold rose with diamond ornament cut into the shape of a rose.
Their relationship went smoothly as they could relate to each other easily. In an interview with James Corden, Franco said that he knew that Brie is the right one for him for one simple reason - his cats.
The 30-year-old actor had two cats and, for him, the cats are one of the most important parts of his life. Brie is a cat lover, and she didn't mind to have a feline companion. As she loves the cats, Franco is relieved because he doesn't have to abandon his cats.
Brie is known for her part as the sister of Emily Blunt's character in the 2012 comedy "The Five-Year Engagement." The 34-year-old actress is recently playing the voice of Diana Nguyen in the animated series BoJack Horseman, aired in Netflix since 2014.
Franco is the youngest brother of the renown actor and filmmaker James Franco. He rose into the stardom after playing in the movie "21 Jump Street" in 2012, playing as drug dealer who sells drugs in school.
