Gal Gadot said that Wonder Woman she plays in the "Wonder Woman" is very different than the one in the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." As the "Wonder Woman" showed the transformation from Diana the Princess into the superheroine.

In "Wonder Woman," Gadot must speak a language created specifically to be the language spoken by people in Themyscira. According to Cinema Blend, creating Themyscira is more than just aesthetic perspective, but also creating the cultural and societal aspects including the language.

For that reason, Princess Diana in the "Wonder Woman" speaks strange accent than the one in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." She said during an interview on the set of the movie that Diana has a thicker accent of her language in her solo movie than the earlier one.

"Her accent in this one, in Wonder Woman, is more Themysciran," Gadot said regarding the accent she used for the "Wonder Woman" movie. She also explained that Diana and the people on the island know hundreds of language, but for the native Themysciran language spoken in the movie, "She has a heavier accent."

Gadot's character in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" still speaks Themysciran, but with a lighter accent. More than that, Gadot explained her character in "Wonder Woman" is portrayed to be more naive, positive and in her coming of age, as reported by Comic Book.

The young Wonder Woman was the daughter of the Queen Hippolyta, the monarch of the nation. Her mother does not allow her to join warrior training, but she secretly trained with her aunt, General Antiope, played by Robin Wright. She later became the most respected warrior in Themyscira.

Peace in Themyscira is shattered by the arrival of U.S. pilot Steve Trevor whose plane crashed near the island. Trevor convinced Diana about the war in the outside world, making her decided to join the war. She later found her true power as the daughter of Zeus and Themysciran warrior to become the Wonder Woman. Watch the official trailer of "Wonder Woman" from Warner Bros. Pictures below:
