'Prison Break' Season 5 Air Date: Trailer Hints Michael Scofield May Not Be The Same After Alleged Death
The wait for "Prison Break" season 5 is almost over and fans have been counting down the days until they see Michael Scofield back and alive on the small screens once again. While everyone focused on the part where Wentworth Miller's character was confirmed to have survived last installment's finale, many may have missed an important detail from the trailer.
Just like the first official trailer, The "Prison Break" season 5 Super Bowl commercial started with Michael Scofield's son asking what was he like. Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) described the boy's father as a storm, "appearing suddenly, and then disappear just as quickly." But when little Michael asked her if storms do return, Dr. Sara Tancredi told him that the real question is "if they come back, is it the same storm?"
This line may be a hint that although Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is officially alive, he could return as a totally different person due to his previous and current experiences. iDigital Times also reminded everyone that the "Prison Break" season 5 protagonist has an active brain tumor and this could be another issue that Michael Scofield has to tackle in the next and final installment.
Despite the epic return of "Prison Break" season 5, the popular Fox show is only set for nine episodes. Even with that update, Wentworth Miller is still encouraging fans to expect more episodes or even more seasons. The 44-year-old actor shared that the fate of "Prison Break" lies in the hands of its viewers.
Wentworth Miller noted that if "Prison Break" season 5 will be received well by fans, then there is a high chance that more episodes or season will be considered. For now, all fans can do is to support "Prison Break" Season 5 when it premieres on April 4, 2017 and wait for a possibility of another installment.
