In an interview with Gamespot news, Andy Tudor, Creative Director of "Project Cars" wanted console owners/players to have the same graphics settings as that of the PC-players and have control on its visual effects.

Given the ability to change or tweak some settings on the graphics will certainly give console virtual racers the feel of playing on PC as they deserve a great experience on "Project Cars".  A 'Visual FX' menu as discovered by the company Digital Foundry, setting options can be tweaked to enhance processing filters, screen dirt, lens flare, bloom or even rain drops.

There is also a separate settings menu which dedicated to the camera which controls field-of-view angles and other options that movements in the camera of the driver's helmet can do.

Tudor explains that he wanted console players to have a feel and to tweak setting to tailor-fit to their racing game just like PC-players do.  They should have control on reaction of the camera, other visual options, driver's accessibility or whether it is just for authenticity.

He also said that the genre of racing has lots of opportunity and mature at this time.  Many console gamers are very eager to have this type of mature depth and they also want a broader perspective of personalized game play so they can have the same feel as that of the PC players.  Both console owners and PC players should experience the same adrenaline rush when playing on their respective modules.

An update on the release of "Project Cars" is on May 7 for PC while for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners, it will be on May 12.
