Spotify launched on PlayStation Music for PS3 and PS4
The PlayStation users are in for a welcome surprise today. PlaySation.blog reports that PlayStation Music is a new application which would help bring Spotify to PS4, PS3 and Xperia mobiles in 41 countries around the world.
The Polygon has said in its report that the PlayStation Music service is totally free and doesn't require a PlayStation Premium membership. Moreover, the Spotify service can be availed in both free account version and the premium membership version which would require the users to shell out $9.99 every month. Furthermore, a 30 day trial period has been put in place for the new users of this app while a 60 day trial has been included for the users who had signed up for the Music Unlimited Service previously. It adds that the this app has been provided with two options, one to browse the network based on the various genres and moods and the other to view the device's music which include options for various songs and playlists that the user would have saved.
Furthermore, The Verge has reported that existing users of Spotify can log in with their account or use their Facebook credentials to do the same. Furthermore, it adds that the Spotify Connect feature helps the user to connect their tablets and smart phones with the play stations to facilitate the log in process provided the console and the phone are on the same wireless network.
