'Star Wars' to be soon on TV Using Old Film Sets
Television viewing will take new heights as movie classic "Star Wars" will hit the small screen in the near future as reported by Cinelinx news. With Lucasfilm now under Disney, it may not be so far, far away.
The franchise which was a huge success in the early 80s has brought lots of memories for the fans that have followed the movie series. Now that Disney is behind Lucasfilm, Star Wars will be gracing the small screen. Plans are already in motion for a new and live action design on production place ABC.
This early, Disney is making the most out of the impact of Star Wars to the fans from movies, comic books, books, video games and now on TV. A very live action series is not impossible in this golden and wonderful age of television. A lot of plot can be written with the massive expanse of stories that can be dealt with which deals with the whole galaxy.
Although it will still take years to finally show a Star Wars TV series, this is still a breakthrough. It may also bring about some problems with regard to the production. Pinewood Studios that used to house the movie film way back in the 80s might also be heavy with schedules so Disney is trying to make way for Star Wars before they announce to the public their solid plans.
Fans are already agitated on the rumors and speculations going around the TV and movie world. Disney might be able to come up with a new trilogy and more stories involving the Star Wars Rebels. These may all be housed in one studio no matter how big the universe is because the force is with them.
