Award-winning gospel music singer-songwriter Detrick Haddon, 41, who also stars in Oxygen's reality television show Preachers of L.A., is launching a new partnership with the independent eOne Music. The deal will include the introduction of his DHVisions record label where he will be releasing new music as well as developing and producing projects for television and film.

Haddon, who will be working in association with Relevé Entertainment, headed by his manager and entertainment business partner Dr. Holly Carter, in a statement said: "As I sat down with Phil [Thornton who serves as eOne Musice Vice President and General Manager of Urban Inspirational] and the entire eOne team, I realized we have the same goal, and that's to unapologetically push Gospel music to new heights. It's rare to find a label that's on the same page as the artist. I feel that my music and my vision are in good hands with eOne! Let's Go."

Thornton, for his part, said of the deal: "At eOne Music, we are excited to partner with the critically-acclaimed, award-winning superstar Deitrick Haddon in forming this new label partnership DHVisions, as he returns to produce the music his fans worldwide have always loved. Deitrick's multi-faceted talents and the dynamic gifts that he's brought to every project have made him an undeniable visionary artist, and we look forward to breaking new creative ground together in the field of gospel entertainment."

Haddon's first DHVisions project will be a solo album slated for October. Prefacing its release and that of a new solo single will be the collaborative track, titled My City with a guest lineup that includes Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark Cole, J Moss, Kierra Sheard, Shelby 5, and and R&B's Kem, reports Billboard. Also, according to Thornton, My City will be broadcast through the radio on April 6, following a live performance on the 30th annual Stellar Awards on March 28 in Las Vegas. The ceremony will reportedly premiere April 5 on the TV One cable network.

Haddon whose film production credits include 2010's Blessed & Cursed and 2012's A Beautiful Soul reportedly also told Billboard the DHVisions will be "diving into" a new movie this year but declined to reveal further details.
