New Trailer for the 'Jurassic World' Released; Watch Trailer (Video)
Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for one of the most anticipated movie of the year, Jurassic World. The dinosaur adventure movie, directed by Colin Trevorrow, being released after a long lag of 14 years, with its prequel released back in 2001. The movie was originally scheduled to be released back in 2005. Amidst a lot of changes in the script and the cast, the released date was pushed back several times.
The movie stars the Twilight actor Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire while Guardians of the Galaxy fame Chris Patt play the role of Owen. On the other hand, Judy Greer, The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star, plays the role of a park visitor. Other actors in the film include Lauren Lapkus, Jake Johnson, and Vincent D'Onofrio. According to the sources, Greer is playing the role of Howard's sister in the movie.
The recent trailer that is currently going viral over the internet, introduces the character of Vincent D'Onoforio as Vic Hoskins. The trailer focuses on the security forces at the park, headed by Vic, who are responsible for safeguarding the visitors from dangerous reptiles in and around the Jurrasic World. Even though Hoskins and his entire team are doing a great job keeping the visitors away from the danger, they are, however, terrified by a new breed of dinosaur, Indominus Rex. The species, described as the 'most deadliest ever,' can run at the speed of 30 miles an hour and produce a 160 decibel roar.
Reportedly, a new 3D poster for the movie has also been witnessed last week at the New York Toy Fair. The poster depicts the veteran dinosaur breeds of the Jurassic World, around the gates of the park.
The movie is slated to hit the theatres in North America on June 12, 2015.
