Gillian Jacobs Describes Her Experiences Being the Only Girl in the Movie ‘Hot Tub Machine 2’
Gillian Jacobs, the beauty behind the character Jill in the now showing Hot Tub Machine 2, had been doing rounds lately to promote the movie. She also stars as Britta Perry in the NBC comedy series Community.
Paramount Pictures' Hot Tub Time Machine 2, the sequel to the 2010 box office hit Hot Tub Machine, opened in theaters on Friday, February 20. Directed by Steve Pink from Josh Heald's script, the sci-fi comedy movie will take off after the events shown in the first film. It is rated 'R' by the MPAA because of some of its crude sexual content and language throughout, graphic nudity, drug use and some violence.
Gillian in her talk with HitFix said: "Every so often it's fun to be the only girl on set. You get all the attention, which is really what we're after as actresses." At Screen Rant, she added: "It was fun. They're a bunch of dummies. It was really a good time to be in New Orleans in the summer with this bunch of weirdos." Asked what she thinks people are going to love the most about the sequel, she answered: "I'm just staring at Rob Corddry's legs on the poster of this film. He's a sensationally attractive man who is in terrific shape, and you really get to see a lot of him in various outfits. So I'd go with Rob Corddry's body. [And] Yes! His wardrobe."
Returning in the sequel to reprise their original roles are Craig Robinson as Nick Webber, Rob Corddry as Lou Dorchen, Clark Duke as Jacob Yates, and Chevy Chase as the Hot Tub Repair Man along with Jessica Pare as Tara, Kelley Stewart as Courtney Agnew-Webber, and Collette Wolfe as Kelly Yates/Dorchen. Joining them in the cast are Adam Scott as Adam Yates Jr., the son of John Cusack's Adam Yates from the original, along with Gillian Jacobs, Kumail Nanjiani, Christine Bently, Mariana Paula Vicente, Angela Kerecz, Melorine Adler, Patrick Kearns, Bianca Haase, and Thomas Lennon.
