'Married At First Sight the First Year' Latest News and Spoilers: What Happens Next?
Three pretty ladies all dressed up to walk down the aisle and into the arms of their waiting grooms. Everything was flawless -the dresses, the blooms, the champagne- yet there was only one catch.
These ladies and grooms were going to wed somebody they had never met - downright outsiders.
This peculiar social experiment was played out on the unscripted television show, Married at First Sight, where six daring souls permitted themselves for the "relationship specialists" to discover their "ideal match."
Five weeks after the wedding, the couples were given the choice to stay wedded or get separated, and indeed two of the three couples chose to stay together. They are currently piece of a show showcasing their first year of marriage called Wedded at First Sight: The First Year.
On their huge day, Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis were not seeing eye-to-eye. Otis really caved the entire path down the passageway. Furthermore things weren't simple from the beginning. Lucky for them, the show gave specialists who helped them to deal with their disparities.
So the two chose to deal it out and move into another loft together in New Jersey, trusting that they would fall head over heels in love.
Cortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion, both 27, said they felt an instant connection the day they met. They said they had a fabulous time at their wedding, and all through the initial couple of weeks of marriage. They worried over setting up their flat and getting settled. Things arrived at a breaking point when Hendrix lost her job, so they brought in the specialists to work things out.
For Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, adoration did arrive on their door. Their marriage is going so well that she's looking at having children.
Both couples now say they can't imagine their lives without each other.
