Terrence Howard's Ex-Wife Michelle Ghent Suspected of Stalking and Threatening Him, LAPD Investigating the Case
Empire star Terrence Howard told police he's been getting nasty Instagram posts for a year now from a certain "Jennifer Chang" who uses the handle @jchang 768 at the social media, site but who suspects is really his second ex-wife Michelle Ghent, a commercial production employee.
The Instagram posts include messages that read "I'm watching you! I'm coming for ... LOL. You two won't live to see your children" apparently alluding to Terrence and his third wife Mira Pak (aka Miranda). Another post, which comes with a pic of Terrence with another woman, warns Mira, "Your husband is cheating on you! Just thought you should know." Yet another one, which comes with a photo of Terrence's pill bottle, reads: "Oh dear, look what I found. Do hope you refilled. It's one of the things you can't leave home without."
The LAPD has obtained a search warrant from a judge so that they can investigate these posts further and determine whether or not Michelle is really the one behind the threats. Police suspects she's behind the Instagram account since @jchang768 only has one follower - Michelle Ghent. But Michelle tells TMZ, she did not send the messages and claims the LAPD has already talked to her and that she's no longer a suspect. The LAPD says it's still an open investigation.
Actually, it was Michelle who has already twice obtained a restraining order against Terrence. On December 5, 2011, a judge granted her a restraining order based on her claims that the ex-husband has caused her physical injuries that required medical attention, once broke her computer in half, repeatedly threatened her, and stalked her by telephone and on the Internet. Then in August 2013, she obtained a second restraining order against him after showing up in court with a black eye she says he gave her.
