Leah Messer sure is in a lot of trouble nowadays. After a rumored upcoming divorce from her husband, Jeremy Calvert, the reality star's salon business has to be shut down due to illegal setbacks the business is facing.

As RadarOnline exclusively reported on Monday, the West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists launched an investigation into the Teen Mom 2 star's Gloss salon, as none of the three stylists are licensed professionals and the women promoted illegal "on location" services.

Though the board refused to comment on the status of the ongoing investigation, Messer and her partners, Leslee Pannell and Crystal Spinks, have taken the salon's website without explanation.

On Gloss' Facebook page, the women hit back at Radar's shocking exposé.

"We will protect our reputation and ourselves. This is a future career we believe in," they wrote. "Success doesn't come without setbacks and haters. We aren't afraid of either."

While the site's demise doesn't appear to be a great sign for Messer, she and her partner confirmed there was a future for the business.

Despite the board's original statement to Radar, Pannell told The Ashley's Reality Roundup that "there is zero truth" to reports about an investigation. However, she confesses that Gloss is suddenly "on hold" until Messer completes cosmetology school.

Since appearing on Teen Mom 2, Messer has been attempting to establish a career. In addition to her nursing ventures, the mother of three announced plans to open her own tanning salon. Unfortunately, neither idea panned out.
