SmackDown 2/12/15 Recap
The WWE's February 12, 2015, edition of Thursday Night SmackDown held at Dayton, Ohio, opened with a video of Kane and Big Show addressing the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, Los Matadores, The Miz & Damien Mizdow, Titus O'Neil & Heath Slater and The Ascension. The teams learned the incredible news that they'd be competing in a WWE Tag Team Turmoil Match. They were given the rules of play - two tag teams would start things out, with the winning combination facing another tag team, the winner of that contest facing another, and so on, until one tag team reigned supreme. While the teams would be picked at random for the most part, Kane said that Roman Reigns would begin the match alongside Daniel Bryan.
Following the telecast announcement, which also served as ice-breaker for the audience, the show proper went ahead. The live audience and the TV viewers are welcomed to the SmackDown by Jerry "The King" Lawler, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton coming from Dayton, Ohio. Cole reminds the crowd that there are only 45 days remaining before WrestleMania. Then the place went dark and the wrestling entertainment began.
