Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date Leaked; Will They Be Released at Mobile Congress in Spain?
We know the definite date on which Samsung will be showcasing the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: March 1st in their Unpacked occasion in Barcelona, Spain. What we don't know is the point at which they actually plan to release their next flagship phone. A year ago the Samsung Galaxy S5 was formally declared on February 24th, and was then globally launched on April 11th, 2014. Will this be the trend followed by Samsung this year as well?
While one could expect Samsung would rehash what they did a year ago and release the next flagship phone around a month after its been disclosed, if HTC's same- day declaration/release for the One M8 taught us anything, it is that Samsung may also decide to do the same thing and release the new smartphone on March 1 itself.
The people at Phone Arena have recently released a leaked report from an asserted Samsung representative which is possibly uncovering the release dates for both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge by the method for blackout dates (dates representatives aren't permitted to take days off). As indicated by the doc, March 22nd - March 30th are referred to as compulsory work days, and additionally April 19th - April 27th too are written as mandatory working days for these employees.
So there is a great chance for these phones to be released on these dates or somewhere near to these dates. As per more confirmation regarding the release date is concerned, no official statement has been issued by the company or any of its head till yet.
Let us wait and watch when can we get our hands on one of the most anticipated phones of 2015.
