‘The Longest Ride’ Releases A Valentine’s Day Movie Trailer Starring Scott Eastwood & Britt Robertson Ahead of April 2015 Release, Watch Here (VIDEO)
The upcoming movie The Longest Ride starring Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson has released a new extended trailer. You can check out the 'Valentines Day' trailer above. The movie is based off of yet another book by acclaimed author Nicholas Sparks.
The Longest Ride is scheduled to open to theaters on April 10th. Along with Eastwood and Robertson, the film stars Jack Huston, Oona Chaplin, Alan Alda, Melissa Benoist, and Lolita Davidovich.
Based on the bestselling novel by Sparks, The Longest Ride centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke (Eastwood), a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia (Robertson), a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City's art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple. Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, The Longest Ride explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.
Principal photography began on June 16, 2014, in Wilmington and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. On July 28, filming started in Jacksonville where a major rodeo scene was shot. The crew then moved to Winston-Salem at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Robertson plays Angie in CBS's summer series Under the Dome. She is also in the upcoming 2015 film Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie. In 2014 Robertson won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Boston Film Festival for the film White Rabbit.
