‘The Apprentice’ Season 14 Spoilers: The Late Joan Rivers Guest Starring in Two Upcoming Episodes
NBC's The Apprentice season 14, better known as The Celebrity Apprentice 7, brings celebrity contestants to compete in business-driven tasks around New York City. Contestants will endure challenging tasks that test their ability to work together while ultimately raising money and awareness for their respective causes. Fans will be able to binge watch the show with two hour-long episodes, two boardroom showdowns and multiple firings airing every week. Donald Trump, executive producer and star of the reality TV show promises, "This season of The Celebrity Apprentice is on point to be the best yet. With 16 extraordinary contestants bringing their energy to the boardroom, it is sure to be a hit, as always." Each contestant has a chance to be named the "The Celebrity Apprentice" and have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their designated charity.
The lineup of men joining the competition include two-time World Series champion Johnny Damon; actor and legendary comedian Gilbert Gottfried; Sig Hansen, the star of Deadliest Catch and Captain of the Northwestern; Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum musician Kevin Jonas; Golden Globe-nominated actor Lorenzo Lamas; NFL great Terrell Owens; award-winning journalist, author, and talk show host Geraldo Rivera; and television and movie actor Ian Ziering. The women contestants include Gold Medal Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson; movie star Vivica A. Fox; best-selling author and television icon Leeza Gibbons; reality star and best-selling author Brandi Glanville; TV personality, author, and mother of eight, Kate Gosselin; world-class gymnast and gold medal Olympian Shawn Johnson; Kenya Moore, former Miss USA and star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta; and television icon Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Although The Celebrity Apprentice 7 just premiered on January 4, 2015, filming for all of the episodes making up the reality TV show was already completed in early 2014. And because of the wide time gap between filming and airing, numerous spoilers are already relatively known. For instance, the late comedienne, actress and TV host Joan Rivers who died September 4, 2014, will be seen guest starring in two still upcoming episodes. Also, Keshia Knight Pulliam, the designated project manager for the women's team 'Infinity' was also the first contestant fired from the game following her refusal to call out to Bill Cosby, her TV dad in The Cosby Show, for donation for her team's project. At that time, Cosby's name has not yet been tarnished by the scandalous multiple allegations of sexual impropriety from different women. On hindsight, Pulliam's refusal to ask Cosby for help now seem to be quite understandable. Still another spoiler, Leeza Gibbons already won $100,000 for her charity.
