New Macbook Air Retina Release Date Speculated to Come Very Soon
After much disappointment of no release dates for the Macbook Air with Retina Display last year, the highly anticipated Apple product may be revealed during the Worldwide Developers' Conference in June.
According to a report by PC Advisor, Christian Today quotes that the Macbook Air Retina may be available on the same day of its launching however it is possible that despite that announcement there will be delays in the delivery of the product due to situations such as a delay in the supply of some materials or a glitch in the chipset. However, some rumors stated by Apple Insider said that Apple may release their new products on a March 2015 event where it will be introduced together with the Apple Watch. Some sources say that it could be a late February launch.
Despite of those assumptions, several are still convinced that Apple might do a quiet slip in regards to the release of the New Macbook Air Retina just like how they did last year where they released the MacBook Air that came with the upgraded Intel Haswell processor without too much hype. However, that is still a speculation.
However, we do have an idea on what we could be seeing from the new Macbook Air retina. It is said to sport a 12-inch screen display though there will be 11-inch and 13-inch variations. It may also sport Intel's Broadwell chip and a USB 3.0 Type C, a fanless design and a thinner body. In addition to that, iDigital Times added that the Apple logo which iconically glows at the back may be removed and replaced with a polished Apple logo though that is merely a rumor. PC Advisor states that the laptop may sport better graphic processors to help enhance its retina display as well as to extend battery life while maintaining high quality performance.
Stay tuned for more updates regarding the highly anticipated release of the Macbook Air retina.
