iPhone 7 Release Date Rumors Brings Fingerprint Sensor Feature to the Light

Apple never ceases to amaze us with its innovative ideas and with the iPhone 7 release date being highly anticipated for all, expectations on the technology mogul are high. That is why Apple is pushing the limits on its gadgets and this time it seems to be taking a page out of smartphone rival's, Samsung book in favor of an all-screen device.

You heard us right, Apple may be ditching its iconic home button for an all-screen phone wherein users will be left to use their fingerprints to open their phone. Though similar to how Android phones like Samsung would require users to swipe down to unlock their devices, the only difference is that Apple will be using fingerprint technology to accomplish this feat.

One of the reasons on this is to cut down on the size. It is noted that the iPhone 6 received much backlash and commentary from its users because of its size and its thickness. However, the set back to this idea is that it might take a while before one could truly access their phone using the fingerprint sensor alone. But Apple may consider ideas that would work around the dilemma of a no home screen option such as iPad-like gestures.

According to a report by Christian News, the iPhone 7 release date will be somewhere in the third quarter of the year. They also quoted Gordon Kelly who said that the iPhone 7 will be "moving to RAM twice as fast and doubling the amount of it in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus suggests major change is afoot" and will have improved camera pictures with a rumored 21 megapixel dual lens camera wherein users can finally take high quality photos that can rival a DSLR camera.
