Lindsay Lohan Celebrity News: LiLo and Mom Dina Lohan Sued Fox Channel For Irresponsible Reporting
Herbie Star, Lindsay Morgan Lohan together with her mom filed a case against the Fox News Channel commentators two days before launching her newest and trending "Sorta Mom" Esurance Commercial.
Last Monday, February 2, 2015, according to Atty. Mark Heller, the Lohan's family lawyer, both Lohan and her mom Dina Lohan sued the Fox News Channel commentators Sean Hannity and Michelle Fields regarding their statement about the mother & daughter taking cocaine together and that Lindsay will be the next celebrity in an obituary list. Their family lawyer called this statement as "totally irresponsible" because Lindsay is making her way again in showbiz. He said, "People should be able to feel that if they hear something on TV or read something in the media, it should be truthful. Lindsay Lohan is on the way toward restoring her career and getting back on track, and something like this can be very fragile and hurtful to her."
The issue originated when Fox News aired their particular segment dated February 4, 2014 about her taking drugs. After one year from that incident, Lohan's family is seeking compensatory and disciplinary damages for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress to Lindsay. The company was puzzled because back then, the Lohans did not demand payment for any damage knowing that the broadcasting network already apologized on-air to the family and deleted the segment from their archive.
February 4, 2015 was the launching of Lindsay Lohan's Esurance Commercial at the Super Bowl 2015. This is the commercial where Lindsay is seen recklessly driving her car telling the kids to get in. Seeing how she drives bumping school properties, one of the kids told his friend how terrible his mom drives. After telling back his friend that Lindsay is not his mom, she told them the she's "sorta" his mom. This commercial serves a reminder to all reckless drivers that no insurance will cater them if they drive that way.
