'Teddy Love' Expected to be 2015's Hottest Valentine's Day Gift
Teddy Love, the toy teddy bear that loves back, is set to be this year's hottest Valentine's Day gift says Sarah Miller at the Mirror. Basically, it is a cute little stuffed teddy, but with nose and tongue that vibrates at 10 different speeds. Teddy Love, as touted in the product's website, "keeps you warm and satisfied on those long, lonely nights. Teddy Love is a unique, discreet, sexual toy that provides hours of pleasure through its dual, vibrating mechanisms. Teddy Love has soft fur, twinkly eyes and is ohhh...so cuddly. Its discreet vibrating device encourages orgasms."
Said to be the brainchild of Wendy Adams, the sex toy teddy bear has a 10-speed motor that is controlled by the ears. The right ear turns it on and off and the left ear switches between the five variable and five fixed speeds. It runs on 3-AA batteries which are located in the teddy's back. Teddy Love is designed by Huntington Beach-based Sonos Design, the same company which designs toys for Mattel, Hasbro, Leap Frog and GM, and manufactured by a Disney-certified manufacturer. The vibrating muzzle is made out of a food grade thermo plastic elastomer that is hypoallergenic, nontoxic and phthalate free.
As gathered from the inventor, the product was inspired on a cold New England night when she was hugging a teddy bear under some blankets while watching TV. She said: "The Teddy Bear was very cuddly, I was holding the bear and stroking him and his nose hit my nipple. I was really turned on, and staring thinking, 'Wow, his nose is hard,' and then put his nose down... and was like this feels great. I started thinking if his nose vibrated this would be really erotic. Then, my husband came downstairs and saw me playing with the Teddy and we started playing around with the Teddy together, laughing and giggling. The rest is pillow talk and history."
Teddy Love is priced at $74.95 at the product's website but is reportedly now being sold for $100.
