‘Bloodborne’ PS 4 Bundle, Limited Edition, Available on Game's Release Day
Sony announced that a 'Bloodborne Limited Edition' PlayStation 4 console bundle will be coming out on the same day as the game, which in Japan will be on March 26. According to Softpedia, the company has confirmed that the limited edition bundle special offer will also be available in Europe where Bloodborne will be coming out on March 25. To date, nothing has been said as to whether same offer stands for USA and the other territories where the game is scheduled to be officially launched.
Where announced as available, the limited bundle edition will be sold through a wide selection of retailers. Pre-orders for the package are now also open at the game publisher's site and at a number of online gaming outlets. The specially-made PlayStation 4 gaming console system comes in two colors: glacier white and jet black, both having a Bloodborne design laser-etched on the hard drive bay cover. Apart from the system itself, the bundle will include the limited first edition of the Bloodborne game, a Dual Shock 4 controller, a headset, power cord, HDMI cable, and USB cable. The limited first edition of the Bloodborne game includes a special artbook, a mini soundtrack with the game's main theme and two other songs, the special "'Top Hat' Messenger Skin" DLC costume, and a Bloodborne theme for the Playstation Dynamic Menu according to the Anime News Network.
Developed by From Software and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Bloodborne is a role-playing single-player and online multi-player hack-and-slash action adventure video game set in a horror-filled gothic city where deranged mobs and nightmarish creatures lurk around every corner. One of the most anticipated games of the year, it has been nominated at last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) for the Best PlayStation 4 Game, Best Action Game, and Biggest Surprise awards. It is now available for pre-order for download and in Blue-ray disc at $59.96. A Collector's Edition which includes a special Steelbook collector's case, an exclusive premium art book featuring stunning concept art from the game, as well as the complete soundtrack of the music from the game's score, is also available for pre-order at $79.99.
