'Furious 7': Spoilers, Cast, News and Release Date; Watch Trailer (Video)
Furious 7, the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious series has been directed by James Wan and co-produced by Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel. The famous American action-thriller is the last film of the actor Paul Walker, who died in November 2013, leaving the film halfway completed.
The movie stars Dwayne Johnson as none other than Luke Hobbs, Jason Stathom as Deckard Shaw, Vin Diesel as the terrific Dominic Toretto, Paul Walker enacts the character of Brian O' Conner, Lucas Black, Michelle Rodriguez as the inimitable Letty Ortiz, Elsa Pataky as Elena and Jordana Bwester. Since Walker died before the shooting for the film was completed, his brothers Cody and Caleb Walker were used as stand-ins for the remaining scenes. Instead of showing Paul's character being killed in the movie, the crew instead decided to retire his character. Reportedly, a few scenes were reshot by the cast of the movie, a few months before the stipulated release date of the movie.
The story line for the film has been developed after its prequel, where all the crew members return safely to the United States after defeating Owen Shaw. As they start to live a normal life, Owen's brother Ian, becomes desperate to seek revenge from Dominic for his brother's death. The entire crew ends up being surrounded by danger, once again.
The film was originally scheduled to release on April 10, 2015. However, Universal officially announced that Furious 7 will hit the theaters ahead of its time on April 3, 2015.
