'Ant-Man' Movie Reveals New Photos of the Film While Villain Corey Stoll Dishes on His Character’s Origins

The trailer of Ant-Man had proven otherwise that the film is not exactly as humorous as that of Guardians of the Galaxy. Although comedian Paul Rudd is Ant-Man himself, it doesn't seem to be as comedic as his normal films should be as there seems to be a balance between humor and the seriousness of saving the world.

When Marvel and Disney first released the Ant-Man trailer, the views skyrocketed and this clearly shows that Ant-Man may be the biggest movie this summer. Marvel fans loved the trailer. There is a good mix of wit, humor, solemnity and grim factor to it as well. While the trailer doesn't reveal too much information or detail about the movie, it is enough to keep people at the edge of their seats.

The film's bad guy is played by Corey Stoll as Yellowjacket and in a recent interview with ScreenCrush, he described his role on the film, "I was this child prodigy that Michael Douglas' character Hank Pym discovered at an early age. He nurtured me and I was part of his technology company. I started to become aware of these rumors of this fabled technology that can shrink people to half an inch while keeping their full-size strength. And I became very obsessed with it and demanded that we move forward. But Pym had sort of buried it for ethical, moral reasons."

He then continued to share that he used his own version of the technology on himself. It had a psychotic effect on the character, but the Yellowjacket suit he discovered is far more advanced than what Ant-Man has.

Paul Rudd also is the co-writer of the movie along with Adam McKay.

Ant-Man will be hitting theaters this July 17 and Marvel is now on the verge of starting their major marketing campaign for the film's release.
