The movie American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper had a huge opening weekend nationwide at the box office bringing in around $100 million. The film recieved a nomination for 'Best Picture' in January for the 2015 Oscars along with Bradley Cooper's nomination for 'Best Actor'.
The picture was under the direction of Clint Eastwood, whose known for directing hit movies like 2008's block buster Gran Torino. Torino gave him an amazing $29.5 million on it's opening week and with American Sniper is proving that he can do it again.
Cooper delivered some memorable lines as Chris Kyle that began to trend on articles including: "The enemy are savages and despicably evil," and his "only regret is that I didn't kill more."
None-the-less, this is not yet the time for celebration. from the ground shaking news between critics and complements coming Oscars, criticism is a plus to get more attention from the audience, to fill their curiosity about the news they heard.
A tweet coming from Seth Rogen gave the picture something to talk about, saying: "'American Sniper' kind reminds me of the movie that's showing in third act of Ingorious Basterds". - explaining that the wors are for a German sniper, but also from one of Eastwood's movie way back 2008 which is "Qeuntin Tarantino".
Not only Rogen sounds like an anti-sniper killing allied, Michael Moore also posted a message on twitter, telling a brief story of his late uncle killed by a sniper in WW2, while leaving a message for the sharp shooters: "We taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren't heroes." - but Moore explained that this is just an insight coming from him and just sharing his past experience, but nothing personal against the character of Chris Kyle.
