'Guardians of the Galaxy' Star Chris Pratt Visits a Young Fan Who Beats Cancer!
Chris Pratt takes time off from guarding the galaxy to visit Children's hospital.
The actor shared a picture of him on Facebook along with Emma, a young patient at the Children's Hospital of Orange County who "just kicked cancer's butt!!!"
Last August, he also visited the Los Angeles Children's Hospital where he played Legos with children. Awww that is so touching!
Prior to that, he stole his costume from Guardians of the Galaxy to make kids smile. "I stole the jacket and some of the wardrobe so that, if this movie comes out and does what everyone hopes it can, I can follow the example of someone -- say, like, a Russell Wilson, you know -- and go visit kids," he told Panzer TV.
Although Pratt's career is taking off, the actor said he will never leave NBC's Parks and Recreation.
"I would never f-- leave this show," Pratt said Friday during NBC's portion of the Television Critics Assn. press tour in Pasadena, Calif.
"I've been doing this business for 15 years. I realize the things that really matter ... are the relationships you have while you're doing them. I could hope that I could have the good fortune of finding another group of people like this, but I don't expect I ever will," he said.
Apparently, the show will come to its end on February 24. The writers had even envisioned having Pratt's character as the new Mayor of Pawnee in the final episodes.
The 35-year-old actor is set to do promotions for his upcoming new film, Jurassic World, scheduled for a June 12, 2015 release.
