'Chuck' Star Zachary Levi to Star in NBC's 'Heroes Reborn'; Jack Coleman Confirmed to Play Noah Bennett
"Chuck" star Zachary Levi has been roped in for NBC's "Heroes Reborn." It ought to be mentioned that the original series ran for 4 years from 2006 to 2010 and now NBC is hoping to re-launch it in a brand new avatar. Levi is slated to be an integral part of the series, but the exact role is not yet known. Bob Greenblatt of NBC said that the channel is excited at the casting and they are planning to spring a surprise on the audience with Levi's role and hence are keeping it shrouded in mystery.
Noah Bennett is going to be played by Jack Coleman, just like in the original series. Some more new actors would also be roped in to play important characters in the series. Levi expressed his pleasure at being asked to be a part of the show. He said that when he became the part of the NBC family eight years ago, then he was all agog with excitement at meeting the cast of the popular show and on getting acquainted with Tim Kring. He is a big fan of the show, so his excitement at being a part of the show now, in its new avatar is understandable. He also added that he feels honored to be a part of "Heroes: Reborn" and is excited to show the new plot and storyline to the viewers and the fans.
Greenblatt also shared that a lot of the old cast members are ready to reprise their role in the new version of the show. He didn't specify names apart from Jack Coleman.
