Dancing with the Stars news: Robert Kennedy Jr to join DWTS?
Dancing with the Stars upcoming season will have a Kennedy on the house. It would seem that Robert F. Kennedy, who recently married actress Cheryl Hines, is up for the competition. This was revealed by Robert's daughter, Kick Kennedy, via her Instagram account.
According to Robert, "I just got solicited to do a show called dancing with the stars. They will pay me $150,000 to commit and additional $350,000 if I make it into the semifinals in a televised dance contest. I know that some of you have seen me dance and I thought I ought to consult you as I consider this offer."
Robert recently tied the knot with Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines at the Kennedy family compound in Hyanis Port. If Kennedy does accept the offer, he won't be the first political figure to do so. Other politically-minded figures who joined the show in previous seasons include House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin.
